» The Council on Aging of Martin County is building the $15-million Kane Senior Center in Hobe Sound.

» Community mental health organization New Horizons of the Treasure Coast is completing the $4.8-million Frances Langford Center for Children crisis unit in Fort Pierce.

» Treasure Coast Hospice will open its $4.75 million counseling center in Fort Pierce early next year.

» The Elliott Museum is building an $18-million history museum in Stuart.

A crowd cheered and took photos as two loggerhead sea turtles slowly made their way through the sand and into the Atlantic Ocean. Monday's turtle release marked the end of their rehabilitation at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida.
